Legoland

We just returned from what was supposed to be the most exciting part of our trip -
Legoland - CA!
It was really fun, but the first day left a little to be desired. It was too hot, too busy and our boy was a little cranky, then a lot cranky when he found out there were no Batman legos available.

Here's my advice...
First of all, do NOT go on a weekend, even in the "off season". We thought we'd be safe, but the lines are LONG (20-45min) for rides that are not that cool (even to a 3 year old.)
Try to avoid days above 80 degrees or plan on spending the entire time in the pirate area where there are lots of sprinklers, water rides and 300 gallon buckets of water falling from the sky. (And, bring your suits, we didn't, so we didn't get a chance to really cool off.)

Day 2 was much more fun. We gave up on most of the rides and settled for all the other cool stuff they have. They have lots of climbing and play areas with fun interactive stuff for the kids and there are no lines!!!
